The CFPB extended the compliance date for the Prepaid Access rule to April 2018. The fact that the industry is struggling to implement the new requirements is a testament to its complexity. In this session, we will cover the requirements for issuers of prepaid access as well as the requirements for prepaid sales agents. Think your vendor is going to comply on your behalf? The only way to verify is to be familiar with the new requirements. Examiners will be looking at the compliance programs of issuers and sales agents alike once the new rule is in effect. Avoid costly penalties and reimbursements by training in advance of the effective date.
