The SBA Paycheck Protection Program has been making news air waves and countless headlines since its launch. In the few short weeks since the loan program launch, community bankers have been working around the clock to support their small business customers and communities. Coined “PPP,” community bankers on the frontlines of the program have had a gamut of experiences with the loan program. To leverage the incredible network of community bankers across the country, ICBA is pleased to bring together three community bank leaders to share their stories about the SBA PPP as well as answer your questions. The community banker panelists will address their bank’s previous experience with SBA, briefly talk about the loan volumes they encountered, and talk about the operational issues their banks faced – and perhaps continue to face. Authentic experience and practical guidance will be shared! Participants are encouraged to bring questions to the briefing as ICBA’s Senior Executive Vice President, Karen Thomas, will moderate a Q&A session with the banker panelists.
