COVID-19 has thus far impacted virtually every aspect of a community bank’s operations. What is not entirely clear relative to COVID-19 is its effect on asset quality. This unknown has left many community banks thinking about their capital, and whethe radditional capital may be needed. In light of this thinking, it is important that your board understands all of the available capital raising alternatives.
This presentation will cover from both a business and legal perspective each of the various capital raising alternatives that are available to community banks, including bank stock loans and subordinated debt, the sale of common stock, the sale of preferred stock and the sale of other “equity-like” instruments.
This webinar should not be missed by any community bank that is considering the need for additional capital in light of COVID-19 or otherwise.
