During this session, attendees will learn how to effectively communicate in difficult and challenging circumstances, with a specific emphasis on electronic communication.
 
Put Yourself in the Hot Seat: Workplace Investigation Simulation
During this session, attendees will take a deep dive into the internal investigation process and assume the role of a human resources professional investigating a difficult race discrimination complaint. Attendees will learn how to select and question witnesses, review relevant documentation, identify which policies may be implicated, and practical steps and tips document the investigation to support the employer through any subsequent legal process.
